This tutorial provides a quick walkthrough of the “Navistep” app (available for Android and iPhone) for use with the Navistep unit and its local “Navistep” Wi-Fi hotspot, focusing primarily on the unit’s one-time initialization procedure. The first minute covers the Navistep unit’s initialization process, while the second minute briefly demonstrates the unit’s three main functions—controlled via the Android or iPhone app: trip tracking configuration, anchor alarm, and NMEA onboard instruments.
This tutorial explains how to add images and comments to a waypoint. Only the owner of the Navistep device can add them, as only the owner can manage and edit their tracking data. Once comments and images have been added to journey waypoints, they will be visible to everyone with access to the Navistep tracking map. Procedure applicable to the web, Android, or iPhone version.
